AFC Porth have this year entered a team into the Welsh League Central Reserve League. This will offer players the chance to play at a higher level compared to last year.

Teams in the Reserve Central League are AFC Llwydcoed, AFC Porth, Bettws, Bryntirion Athletic, Caerau (Ely), Cambrian & Clydach, Cardiff Corinthians, Garw, Llantwit Fardre, Maesteg Park, Pontyclun, Porthcawl Town, Treharris Athletic Western, Troedyrhiw.

Managers - Gavin Fackrell

Assistants - Phillip Thomas (Nipper), Paul Nagi

In Gavin's third season in charge, and the club have attracted some good young players to the club, these together with some experienced players give the side a balanced look.

Gavin ably assisted by Nipper and Paul Nagi are confident of a good season with a high league finish as the target.
