AFC Porth 1st team play in Division One of the MacWhirter Welsh League.

This season Porth will be managed by Scott Young, assisted by Rob Lewis with Physio Billy Young.

After relegation from the Welsh League at the end of the 2006-7 season, Porth bounced back at the first attempt by winning the South Wales Amateur League, following an unbeaten league season. Last season further success with promotion back to the 2nd Division for the first time in 6 yrs.

Chairman Neil Dowler who has been with the club in one capacity or another for over 18 years, is the driving force behind the resurgence of the Club, Cliff Cory is the man keeping an eye on the finances, and the other hard working committee members are Paul Nagi, Nigel Thomas, Rob Lewis, Gavin Fackrell, Keith Burge and Eric Thomas.

They are all working very hard  so that we can continue to give every player, whether it be senior or youth, the highest possible standard of football.
