Second season, tricky winger, bags of skill, gives the team width, just don't travel to away games with him, you WILL get lost!

First season, has a sublime left foot,  pacey, can deliver a devasting cross, just needs to work on his wadrobe !!!! 

Adrian Needs (Sweeper) Age 34

First season, great reader of the game, calm, assured, rarely wastes a pass. Welsh semi professional international, over 300 games for Merthyr. Returned from Hong Kong cause he was homesick for.....Merthyr !!!!!

Gavin Cory (Centre Half/Captain) Age 26

7th season for "inspirational" Capt Cory, can, and has played anywhere for us, getting back to his best after a serious knee injury, commanding in the air, leads by example, could easily play at a higher level, and hopefully his loyalty will be rewarded !!!!

John Noble (Centre Half) Age 24

Been with the club since he was 9, strong in the tackle, great awareness, never misses a training session, Porth through and through. Having one of his best seasons to date, and he's a Chelsea fan !!!!

Craig Evans (Midfield) Age 35

First season, creative midfeilder with an explosive shot, played in the Champions league, and scored in the UEFA Cup, marked Shevchenko out of the game in Kiev, apparently !!!!!

Robert Moore (Midfield) Age 21

Been with the club for 8 yrs, midfield terrier, ferocious tackler, great vision, explosive shot, doesn't lose many 50/50's , in fact I have NEVER seen him lose a tackle !!!! 

Jamie Hallett (Midfeild) Age 26

2nd season, suffered with injuries most of last season, now nearing full fitness, great stamina runs all day, can win it and use it, gets forward whenever possible, but needs to work on his finishing, hope you are not stuck behind him at airport security, them metal dectectors beep for hours !!! 

Craig Davies (Midfeild) Age 23

Former youth player in his second season after returning, sublime skills, devastating passing, great shot, regular penalty taker, having a great season playing just behind the front two, the boys a genius if only he knew it !!!!

Ashley Burge (Midfeild/Striker) Age 22

2nd season with the club, playing mainly up front this season with great sucess, lively, holds the ball up well, brings others into play, holds the club record for assists in one game ,10 against Llanharry !!!!

Following in the family tradition, father 'H' a well known former Porth player and brother Jared also wore the Porth colours, Josh has oustanding levels of skill, and is very versatile, a future star ???

Paul Evans (Manager) Age 43

Enjoyed great sucess as a player, scoring goals for fun. First season in charge, wealth of experience, had great sucess with local rivals Penrhiwfer taking them into the Welsh League, and had a spell as manager of Merthyr. Has brought much needed experience to the club with his extensive contacts in the game. A deep thinker tactically and a great motivator, most likely to say "That Huw Jones is the best secretary I have ever worked with"
